ahh your a very intelligent person lol. maybe ill get the jvc 600 watt amp and get some good good 6x9''s for the back. they are smaller than that from the factory though, 4x8 or something like that, do you think i could find a good set of speakers that will take that much power from the amp?

you should really do away with rear deck speakers and focus more on a good front stage. Try a four channel amplifier, run a good component system on two channels and bridge the last two channels for your subwoofer, you would be pleased with the sound! :)

yea i have no rear speakers, and just a personal thing, but i hate messing with 4 channel amps, i think i will get 2 subs with a single amp that will power them and get a good set of door speakers and use my current amp to power them. i have a hollywood 6x9 that i got out of a junked car, its rated at like 200 rms but it distorts just from head unit power.

the 6x9 distorts from the head because your pushing the limits of your head units power output.

or...does it sound bad at all volumes? if so dont use it.

94f150 is right. power the front stage with your amp, your ears point forward for a reason.

yea it distorts at loud volumes. i have a very small 4 channel amp, maybe 30 rms i could run, but id hate hooking a 4 channel amp up to just power 1 6x9
