haha. I had that happen before. I bought my car 4 hours away from where I lived so it was a long drive home. The first time I got pulled over was right when i got out of Sheboygan. It was a state trooper. I quickly pulled over and had the papers in my had before he was even at my window. I also had a person I was following to vouch for me. He looked at it went to the back of his car, came back and handed me my bill of sale and license. Then later after I left another big city another cop was on my ass for about 30 mins. I don't know why. Then he just turned around. After that I had no problems. This is up in Wisconsin by the way.
the dealer didnt give you a temp tag? when i bought my truck 1 1/2 years ago i had my old tag put on the new one.cost like 95 for the transfer.so i'm driveing home and since i didnt have any way to mont the tag.i put it in the rear window. now i did have my insurance swapped over too.just made a call while at the dealer and it was done over the phone. sooo.... i'm driveing home and about a half mile from my house a sherrif pulls me over, but get this i had nowhere to pullover so i put on my hazzerds and slowed down and kept going till i got to my street. he was all ****ed cause i didnt stop, but realized that i coulndt and said.why dont you have a tag. i showed him i did, and man he tried his damdest to get me for something but couldnt. luckaly the transfer and inc.got in on time.then he tells me i dont want to see you on the road untill your tag is on the bumper.before all this i stopped at the store and bought the mounting bolts. i showed him those too and he flipped.then in a sarcastic tone i said "anything else...SIR"just go home. again i tell him "100 more feet and i would have been.....SIR" he just turned and left.what a rush it was.
This forum is great. I'm always learning something about some kind of car audio. It's also cool, I love all about this shaking the house with speakers and all of that. The low notes hitting and people looking around trying to find where it's at and stuff.
