is that alpine plv 7 going to work good in the trunk of my car cuz i read some where that its for a hatchback
oh yeah...I forgot about that. It isn't meant for trunk cars. Why not just buy a sub, build a box, and buy an amp. You don't have to have JL stuff to sound good. JL is overrated...everyone thinks JL is the best out there...simply put it isn't
how much does it affect the sub if its in a trunk not a hatchback and yea thats was my plan a first with those big subs the mofo-12 or 15 and that other one that i listed but do you know any good amps and subs that work good together and will give me all the bass i want..?
What kind of bass do you want??? How much space can you give up for subs??? How much money total do you want to spend???
i'll vouch for what the 13ov.2 can do, my friend has two of them running off 1200+ watts in a 4cuft box tuned to 31hz and good god does it pound.
i want to really feel my bass and have it be heard from a distants umm can give most of my trunks space up for subs or like 2/3 of it and around $500 preferred
well about 175 per sub(elemental designs), 375 for the amp(Nine.1 from Elemental Designs), all 0 guage wiring including big 3 and an extra optima yellow top in the rear, all together it came out close to a 1000$
so its a good idea to get a second battery and if i am making my own box is it ok to make a holder on the box for the battery and another thing i have a 1995 audi a6 and the battery is under the back seat so the big 3 might be hard to do is there any easy way to figure out what guage your wire is for your ground on your car right now
well yea but it might be hard to do it on my car cuz the battery is under the seat so how can i find out what guage wire i have in my car right now and do you know of a really good sub and a amp for under $400 that pounds a lot....?
it being under the seat may make it some what easier to work on.the only thing that would be hard is actually routing the heavier gauge cable to the batt.the rest should be cake.shorter runs to the amp.
