I'd like to suggest you keep the off axis in place. Try a simple relocation of the tweet (further foreward of the mids, and a tad higher I might suggest) before creating an on axis stage.

I really hope to find a set to hear someday. I really find it hard to believe that the company who buids the Delta Amp makes a poor comp set. Are you going to IASCA world finals in Charlotte this Oct? I don't know where you live, but a bunch of us are meeting up there...

  2. I might be able to work that out. It would be interesting at least!

    Right now:

    HU: Blaupunkt RPD-552
Subs: 2 HSL eXcursions in 2.5 cubes after displacment each, tuned to 30-32hz
    Sub Amp: JBL 1200.1
    Mids/highs: Factory...ugh..
Mids/highs amp: Lanzar Vibe 800...not powering anything right now...

Within the next month I'll be replacing the HU...possibly with a JVC Digifine 2.2 Mp3 player...if I can get a little more money togeather I'll probably go with the Alpine 7894...along with that i'll be ripping out my 6x9's and replacing my front stage with some Cadence Neo's most likley...running them off the Lanzar bridged to two channels giving me about 175rms per channel...should be pretty sweet I hope....

    :)

My current stuff is in my sig.

    Planned Upgrades:
    Adire Audio Component Set (bi-amped)
Monitor Audio Mk 4.70 80x4 RMS Amp
    Pioneer Premier 940MP Head Unit

I also want to order that Elemental SP sub and compare it head to head with my Brahma, to see which one I like better. If I went with the SP I would need a new amp or I'd need to buy another V800XD and strap them to get sufficient power at 2 ohms. It's gonna be a while before I get money to do ANY upgrading, back in school and I can't be using up all my money!
