If i have those 2 batteries I will have to get a relay correct? Is a 200 amp relay big enough?

yeah a 200 amp relay is fine.

If you buy two batteries that are the same and at the same time than a relay is not needed

hmm I could do that. The price of the relay is almost the same price of a new battery. I could probably sell my 1050ca battery to somebody that needs it too.

I changed my mind on the speakers. How about These 6x9s and these 6.5s or these 6x9s (10bucks less). The reason I linked them to best buy is because I still have a warranty on my cd deck which i can return for money for 134 bucks and With those 2 pairs of speakers I will only be paying 10-20 bucks. What do you think about these speakers? Unless you can suggest something else for about 134 bucks to 150ish at bestbuy. I'm already ten bucks short of 1500 bucks for this system and thats not including my custom built box. I also am planning on buying other stuff for my car so this is getting kinda close. Also Can I take the grill part off of my front doors and put the covers of the 6.5s on to cover up the **** job ill probably do? I own a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS

Either of those speakers will work perfectly fine...just make sure you mount them firmly and securely...no air leaks around the basket...and they will sound good.

basically make your own baffles like from crutchfield.com

use plastic sheeting and line the speaker hole...left excess to lay over the speaker hole...poke a small hole for speaker wire...stuff polyfill in there....mount the speaker and cut off excess plastic

Is a re manufactured alternator? I know there cheaper butI found a 160 amp alternator for 550 bucks thats kinda out of my budget. But I found a Remanufactured one for about 243 bucks. I might be able to get it cheaper if I can give them the alternator I have for the core price of that one (about 60 bucks). HOpefully I can start buying this stuff in the next couple weeks. Also since Im on this thread what is the differences between these 2 install kits?

Correction: Is a remanufactured alternator as good as a new one?

    The Kolossus wire is better

It is all copper, more flexible, and better wire

The CCA wire is a cheaper substitute...it is only 10% copper 90% aluminum, the outer jacket is stiffer, not as good wire but will work fine.

    I would recommend the Kolossus

Should I get any extra wire for the "big 3" ?

After getting this higher output alternator and one duralast gold battey. Do I really need a second battery? Also the hifonics 2006d does not have a fuse in the amp. What do I need to do about that?

if you get a HO alt than a second battery will not be necessary.

Good choice on the Duralast Gold...I have one and with my Nine.1 wired at 2 ohm pushing about 600-700 watts rms the battery floats at 12.7-8 volts and only drops to about 12.5 volts with the amp at full tilt...very good battery

Also I just want to make sure. With this ho alt, bigger battery, and I upgrade the big three I wont need a cap and will have no dimming? Thanks
