    ok then here's a thought, you mentioned that you had a relative that was into woodwork, have strat do a blue print of the box and pay him for it then have it built,you have some good equipment there man, just dont want to see it end up sounding like crap because of a poorly built, or inproperly designed enclosure

    Ok I think I might just get my sealed box back in my car or plug the ports and then whenever i get the dang alero ill get a custom box because i think that has bigger truck space.

    Where do you live azn, viking, dave, or anybody else good at this stuff? Im from wisconsin. I almost want to get all this crap and then just go over to one of your houses and have it all set up....I dont like "elite audio" around here. There expensive and I know the guy from another guy but there so damn expensive. ends for my battery and ground were 10 bucks a pair and charged me 30 bucks to isntall my ground wire.

    I'm in southern Indiana....Evansville, Indiana to be exact.

    also Rich doesn't do many blueprints anymore...he said he doesn't have the time

    i can understand the doesnt have time to do them anymore. anyway, being that i work at an auto repair facility, i'll see if i cant by chance grab some trunk measurements off an Alero if one happens to come in and see what is doable as far as the size constraints and i'll draw you a to scale view of it....

    granted i have to buld my box in the car, but if i can figure out a way to get 3 Fi q12's in the trunk of a kia sephia and still have enough room for a nice trip to the grocery store, i think we can figure out something for your alero that is soon to be in your possesion

    one thing you have to remember here, all boxes act different in different vehicles so you may end up having to build a few b4 you actually get a design that works well in your car. if you are questioning my reasons on this comment do a search on a few forums about impedance rise.

    I could use the whole trunk for the box. Id just use the back seat and if i have to go pick something up very large ill just use my truck

    one sheet is usually enough to build a box so don't go buyin a bunch:p

    Ok here is about half hours worth of my time so far...I haven't really gotten Google Sketchup down pat yet

    Approx 5 cu ft net tuned to ~35Hz

    Sweet man! You rule! How much you think that cost for wood? seems easy to do. I got all the tools to cut the wood at my house. just cant cut straight. but my parents can....What size slab i need for that? Where can i get it? I was thinking lowes? this is for 2 kicker L7s? I can get the port painted black for free and all I would have to do is know how to put it together (glue or screws, what kind?) and carpentry

    screws AND glue, be sure to pre-drill your holes first
