lol.no no i was asking cause he posted that after i posted my amps power output to tell adrian that the sub will perform great with the right box with not a ton of power. it's all cool:lol:
haha...nah. The Old School PG's are bullet proof. I would never disgrace them by saying they are overrated
so it would b good 2 run a lil power but with the right box so is the db drive not pushing it so much jus perfect
oh yeah, 250 per sub in a good box will deffinetly give you alot of bass. just go easy on the gain and bass boost. check this out.with that box i have.i have to put my bass on -15 out of -24 to+6.and the bass pounds.same thing with the bazooka thats in there now.its on -12,and it gets on it. it aslo has alot to do with cabin gain(transfer fucntion).
so at how many ohms am i gonna run da subs at 2 get 500 and does it push 250 2 each sub cabin gain(transfer function) wich is thankx guys love this site
cabin gain is like a natural bass boost that car/trucks have. its diffrent with every vehicle.i'm sure azn or ranger can explain it better.
those are just "ratings" do you really think a 50 dollar Pyle amp can put out 1000 watts like its rated?? think if it like how your vehicles engine is rated to put out X amount of HP. only thing is that that rating is in a perfect environment and at the crank...at the wheels you are not getting that much power at all
