The orange one is better yes? It covers more of the lower bass and keeps up with the white one. The orange one is 3.5 cubic feet at 36hz, the white one is cerwin vegas recommendation 2.5 cubic feet at 38 hz.

I'm sure you won't have any problems with your new amp. Take some pics of your amp once you get it in.

Pedro really loves the probox. You should give it a shot, at least you wouldn't have to make a box.

Ya, i'm going to make it, will get home depot to make all the cuts for me. My pioneer HU is toasty. Makes a low thumping noise intermitantly through the sub only when the cd is playing. Changed amps, changed subs, changed rca cables then i rewired my deck then pulled it when i noticed it only does it for cds, it doesn't make any thumping noises on the radio. So i'm glad this happened now, changed the deck and is nice again. Sounds like crap though, lol good old jensen. Now i need a new deck.

Alpine HU ??/// I think i might try an alpine for my deck. Lot's of good reviews on the sound quality. It has 4 volt preouts too.

my personal opinion is taht alpine doesnt look very flashy and nothing special. my friend had one in his truck, it was nice. sonic has a deal on kenwood excelon HU's for 139.99 and it has 3 sets of 4V preouts too. i personally love pioneer tho.

Alpines are nice... my brother went through the 9857 and then that one that only accepts ipod... great sound quality... but once he got the pioneer n2 with the sound enchancing stuff in it... everything stepped up a bit until all the audiocontrol stuff took over... but the alpines had no issues with engine noise or anything... really nice too.

Cool, i had an alpine years ago and it was amazing the sound that came from it, like a crunchy but crisp sound lol. I love Pioneer too, they sound great and have tons of adjustments but i think an alpine would sound better than pioneer if they are still making them like they used to. There's a few Clarions i've been looking at too but they seem to lack adjustments.

    I got my Hifonics finally!!!
