damn wtf lets try it again haha Elemental Designs 12Q 12" Subwoofer - (eBay item 190150393444 end time Sep-13-07 17:19:05 PDT)
Ok, i think i'm going to settle with a 10" Cerwin Vega Stroker, i found a used one with a box built to specs for $250.00 locally. Unless anyone has anything bad to say about them. It's rated @ 2000 watts rms and is a dual 2 0hm. The seller is willing to demo it for me with 1700 watts rms so it must be still good.
Ya i wish, but i would need about 10 hccas to power it. Elemental designs doesn't have a subwoofer that is 2000 watts rms as far as i know. What about this Cerwin Vega Stroker? Anyone have or tried it or heard it or know anything about them? It is 2000 watts rms 3000 watts peak. I should get the Orion H2 and be done with it but i don't have $900.00 to shell out.

those pioneer premiers set the dB world record. Elemental Designs News Blog scroll down to September 6th just before half way down the page and its in the first picture with the 12" diameter magnet.
Sweet thanks for that info azn, yes i remember when i ran it through bassbox before it wasn't responding well, i though it might be me lol
yes, i did get the link in the email sent to me and i saw it on ebay just figured it was 1000 watts or so lol. You know what though, one of the administrators here i think wanted it more because they kept deleting your link to it. Bastards!! That's a little dirty, i wouldn't have bid anyways, that sub would need way too much power to even move it. Shame Shame Admins.....Double shame, now i know your dogs name haha
i've also read that the basket isn't strong enough to support the magnet, that sub was just a freak of nature prototype. Only solution i've found is to build supports inside of the box to hold up the magnet.
