Well i just noticed a few days ago that if i keep the back seats up the bass like doubles with less power. Strange no? There is hard plastic on the back of the seats but the rest is cushion. Did i just create patent license fabricate and regenerate the most awesome abc box ever??????/// haha

 

Ya bandpass is probably what i meant pedro lol, the one where the sub is inside the box completely with two chambers.

 

or even through my faceboard into the trunk lol, they can be removable. Where my rear speakers were, there is just the holes now, i didn't cover them because my faceboard is behind them. I guess the bass is coming out the speaker holes and bouncing off the rear windshield. It's quite a difference with the back seats up though, more pressure on the sub i guess. I borrowed my friend's camera to see if i could get a video without distortion and it turned out much nicer. This was a Sony Cybershot 7 megapixel, nice camera.

yes, it makes a distorted noise too though like the other one did before it burned, but you will only hear it at low volume. Ha this last coil doesn't want to die and i'm pushing it.

 

haha, sweet, ya i definetly hit on something very powerfull with the car. I think i'm only running 400 watts into one coil of my sub. Amazing. Now I need to harness this free power lol. I was thinking to seal it off right behind the seats with a big piece of clear plexi so you can still see inside lol.

 

Hmm, not sure. I'm sending this sub back soon for a recone @ 2 ohms this time and i'm going to order a second 190v2 2 ohm sub, then run them side by side at 1 ohm. I think i like the front of the woofer facing forward, it's easier to hear when it's getting distorted.

I will try and flip this one around before i send it out and see what the difference is. I know i have a huge advantage with this car having the back seats go down and a hole straight to the trunk.

 

oh ok, no i like it how it looks, it's fine, when i do get it how i want it will be fiberglassed or carpeted. I think i have room for two side by side, here's some older pics just to reference.

ya, they were pointy lol.. I ripped it out today, that's it, she's going back, and 2 will be coming back to me!! Two, 2 ohm 190v.2 subwoofers, watch out!! haha, i have to kick azn's ass first priority!!!//:mellow:

Have to make a new faceboard for two, this one will be doubled up and about 10 gallons of fiberglass lol Permanent wall of destruction!
