If you are going Fi i'd say two BLs...they'll take that 1500D easily.

The 1500D's aren't warrantied for anything under 1 ohm so if you blow it you are screwed

Well I'm warrantied at 1 ohm right? I wouldn't run it any lower than that. The bottom line is, I'm going to see 1500 watts from the SAZ-1500D, the SSD's can take at least 800, and the Q's and BL's at least 1000. The SSD's are $189 each and the Q's and BL's are $259 each. I gotta decide.

Yeah they are still warrantied at 1 ohm.

I love the style of those amps...simple and look like just pure power.

Yeah I fuking hate deciding...never can

damn hard desicion if you put 2 SSDs on the 1 1500d theywould take them great because i have seen 1 Q or BL take that 1500d with no problems

Alright, what do you think, should I do 2 12's ported or 2 15's sealed?

Hey eazy, you still going..lol I don't know the subs you are looking at but one nice 15" would allow you to build a bigger box.

if you want brain numbing bass go for the 15's.

You think the 15's sealed would be louder than the 12's ported?

    why not ported 15's?

I can't run them ported with the spare tire unless I come up with something insane.

    ...what do you mean?

I need 8 cubes of airspace after port, sub, and brace displacement for the 2 15's ported.

which 15's are u planning on using?

ohh and what are the measurements of ur trunk

what my trunk looks like empty...

    Max width= 39"
    Max depth= 24"
    Max height under tire= 14"
Max height in front of tire= I believe 21"
Tire hangs out over edge= I believe 8"

I've built ported boxes by the way. I've just been having trouble getting 8 cubes tuned to 33 Hz with enough port area. I figured the whole box should be double thick 3/4" MDF.

Oh and probably the Fi SSD15's or Fi Q15's getting at least 750 real watts each from the Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D.
