Suggestions for System in Classic Car

    hi for the speakers low for the sub. try 80 to 100 hi pass for the 6x9's and 80 low pass for the sub. you can over lap the freqs if the speakers can handle the frequencies.

    my mids are like this, 80 HP 80LP.

    Guess I'm confused....the amp only has an "Off" or "Hi" selection for the crossover, there is no selection for "Lo". However, on the top of the amp there are frequency adjustment dials for both "AMP1" and "SUB". Am I correct in thinking that I will select the "Hi" option on the crossover switch and then adjust both frequency adjustments to your recommendation?

    Well, I got in the trunk tonight and I just don't have enough room to install boxes on the 6x9's. Will this be a problem and do you think they will over excurt with the pressure from the sub? Would installing a set of the foam speaker baffles help? It looks like they are pretty compact and I may have enough room to seal the 6x9's with them.

    ok just adjust the dials on the crossover accordingly to each channel.

    are the dials numbered?

    Yes, the dials are numbered.
