    Not necessarily...more power yes...more heat and potential failure if your amp cannot handle a heavy abuse at that load

    true the lower the ohms the less resistance there for more power passed on to the sub. however the higher the ohms the better the sound from the subs and less potential of overheating or frying the amp.

    So, 4 ohm is the way to go, not to much power, not to less power....?

    4 ohms is the standard for like day to day use and reliability. 1-2 ohms is for competition.

    as azn said too much power... no such thing, but before id run lower than 4 ohms and expect good sound and reliability, id buy an amp that pushes more watts out at 4 ohms.

    Get the 4 ohms. Wire them series for the coils and parrallel subs. You end up with a 4 ohm load. 4 ohms is pretty much the standard and you cant go wrong with it. Most amps are designed to preform the best at 4 ohms.
