I got it working. Put 2 diodes with bands facing car door triggers. Used +purple wire from alarm. Doesn't false and still shows on my pager when either door is opened.
I am thinking about just hooking up my dome light super wire straight to the car dome sup. wire. Would that cause any problems. cause the relay makes it only work about 25% of the time? Thanks

It should not affect anything. I have done a few dome light supervisions at the dome light.

My Dome light supervision doesn't work. Here's how I have it hooked up. 86 to 12v, 85 to -black/white alarm dome super wire, 87 -lt.green/yellow car dome super wire, 30 to ground.
Relay makes all wires show 12.5 volt, with lights off.
Relay wires: armed car wire shows 12.5v to 12.2v.
    unarmed 12.5v to 12.2v
Alarm wire Armed shows 12.5 to 11.6v
    Unarmed 11.6v to 12.5v.
Lights don't turn on or off.

I tested all the wires in the dome light bezel.
Lt.green/yellow Hit unlock(light off to on) 12v to 0v then to like 285v. Lock(light on to off) 285v to ov to 12v.
black/blue Hit Unlock(light off to on) 12.5v to 11.88v Lock 11.8v to 12.3v Hooking alarm wire directly to this doesn't work.
    White/blue unlock 11v to 12v, lock 12v to 11v.
    Pink/blue unlock 2.1v to 20v, Lock 20v to 2v.

    Any ideas Thanks

I almost never run into a domelight supervision problem.

I'm gonna get the dumb question out of the way first. The dome light does turn on when the door is opened and off when the door is closed right?

Now back to the green/yellow wire in ths Smart Junction Block in the passenger kick panel. Close all the doors, make shure the domelight is off. (always test the wire prior to doing this, it is essential we have the right wire). Using a jumper, attach one end to the green/yellow. Momentarily touch the other end of the wire to ground. The dome light should have turned on.
(again I cannot stress this enough to someone else reading this, DO NOT DO THIS unless you are sure you are on the right wire)

Did the domelight turn on when the wire was grounded?

Yes the dome light turns on when the door is opened, and turns off 20 seconds after the door is closed, or when the ignition is turned off.

I touched the dome light wire jumper to ground and the dome light did turn on. I even touched it to the relay ground to make sure it was a good ground and it still turned on. So do you think it might be the alarm not sending enough of a ground to the relay?
