Ported Box

Fixed in less than 24 hours wohooooo, and it sounds deep, shaking the house lol.
Didn't turn out as good as i wanted, the rubber is a little distorted and the magic marker looks like crap but it works great. Will probably go pick up a can of flat black tommorrow or maybe gloss black and see if i can make it look descent. For free, i'm not complaining, it will probably end up in my trunk at one point in time!

oh, and i'm going to try and use a vacuum cleaner to pop out the middle instead of trying to poke a pin through it.

 

I figured this would be stronger with the epoxy, the speaker is 500 watts rms so i do plan on putting it through some hell lol.

 

There's quite a bit of air that comes out of the port at low frequencies, is this normal or maybe it should be sealed for this woofer.

 

lol, i thought so, didn't look right to me flopping around. The box is a descent size though maybe i should seal off the port?

 

well, it's got angles all over but can i just give rough measurements 14" x 15" x 21" the port is 3.5" round x 6" long

 

No amp yet pedro, this guy is giving me a hard time and not accepting any cash i'm sending him because my paypal address in not verified. So am trying to switch credit cards around but he's making it very difficult for me. He says he won't send unless my address is verified, i've never had this problem before. Been buying and selling on ebay for a few years. The card on my paypal is not my home address, my ebay one is. Hopefully i can get it worked out. I've already sold my system lol.

 

also...i just realized my drums are due in the pawn shop and some car audio stuff is due also, a kicker L5 with box and a few amps that i don't want to let go so i'm hustling like crazy lol.

 

cool, yes they have been in there for like 5 years LOL i go back once a year and renew them. Yamaha Power V double bass with zildjan hihats and cymbals.

 

and a paiste splash i think lol not sure if i still have it.

 

it is past due, i have to get my sh.. together lol
