ported box for 2 15" audiopipes

    he was expecting to buy amp, wiring kit, box and a sub w/ 250 bucks that kicked hard

    with a real good box your friend can get a lesser expensive sub and have more for a more powerful amp

    why not just buy one already made.

    i have two of the 600hz hipass for my dash speakers and they work great and cost less than 30 bucks.

    the problem is that i dont have any money left lol the box left me broke....and those crossovers are like 10 bucks + shipping and i need like 4 so that ill be like 60 buck w/ shipping

    why do you need 4?you have only 2 subs

    i want the crossovers for the speakers...the subs already have a lowpass...i need a high pass for the 4 speakers

    wait!!!if i can remember right ranger said a 99 micro fared cap should work as a bass blocker.

    you will have to ask him though.

    i have 2 speakers per amp channel....i have a 2 channel amp

    well you could get an 8 ohm cross over if you wired them in series.but it will have half the power.:(

    i keep an eye out for any deals.

    well i went to a local shop and they offered a 3 way crossover for 50 bucks, it was profile...but i only want to block the bass so i guess a cap for each speaker could block the bass

    don't go buy "bass blockers"

    Just buy some non polar electrolytic capacitors...thats all they are.

    if the speakers are 4 ohms...use a 200micro farad cap for a crossover point of 200Hz...will work fine

    Got that from the link I posted earlier in this thread about passive crossovers...you could have found it if you looked a little and save you some time
