well going from 135 to 300 each will get you at least 2 or more db's.

the big three in some situations can help...it can raise the voltage that your amps see making the amp work not as hard and more efficient

I'm loading up a couple vids of the 12W6 and 400-500 watts

    one is a 10Hz Tone....sounds like a helicopter lol

the other is a 35Hz tone...both are the with engine off amp seeing about 12.6 volts

    yeah...fairly simple.

read the sticky about adding another battery in the electronics section of the forum

hmm...what im saying bot a another cars bat i mean like put a pathfinder battery in my quest

    why would you do that??

if it fits in the battery tray than the swap should be simple.

Most factory batteries are just big enough to start the car and run some accessories...unless you have a big truck

its that there arent any optimas for my quest so i wanted to see if any other batt would fit, but do u think im better w/ the batt i have now and a gel batt in the back?

and if i put an optima battery which one should i put red top or yellow top?

really either batteries will work fine

the only major difference between a starting battery and a deep cycle is the thickness of the plates.

I'd go for the yellow top though...it is warrantied for audio use also.

i'd keep the battery you have now and add an optima in the back
