ported box for 2 15" audiopipes

    what would be better for a sealed box??? dual chamber or single??...its for a friend that wants something like this--------> [​IMG]...he has a ford excursion

    okk....well he told me now that that dsign couldnt be done cuz it would be too tall and his dad wouldnt let him do it if he cant see the back window

    so...should the subs be in separate chambers or just a sinlge chamber

    well hes gonna be using 2 amps, and he has my same subs

    would 2 more subs in sealed enclosures raise my spl?? cuz i had an idea....get the 2 cvr's and use them in the vented enclosure and use the audiopipes in the sealed enclosure i had them before...will it work??

    i'm not a fan of mis matching subs.

    the s/n ratio may be diffrent and they may not sound good together.

    well when i read about sub reviews they break them in foe 24/30hrs.

    i've never broken in mine,and never have had any probs with one.

    so...i dont know?

    what would you recomend to get more than 138 dbs?? besides buying new subs.

    are the subs maxed out as far as wattage? and hows ur electrical system?

    well they were only getting 370 watts for both so that about 135 per sub, an my electrical i think its okk the van already has 4 gauge and a 120 alternator...it makes about 14.sumthing lol i need a DMM to get more accurate readngs...

    lol i wont mismatch em then lol...yea that ill look really ghetto style lol but anyways...im going to hook the subs 1 per channel. since i have a 2 channel amp the amp rating is 300@4 x 2 so ill get more power than bridged...putting the box looking up decreased the dbs by .5...

    i think im also gonna do the big three...i found 2 gauge @ advance auto parts @ about 1.70 the foot

    find a welding supply store...you can get 0 gauge for that price

    also to break 138dbs?? MORE POWER

    if i hook a sub per channel giving it 300x2 will that increase it?
