Pioneer AVH-P6600 DVD HELP

    How do i make the system REMEMBER MY SETTINGS,

    i change my EQ settings everytime i turn my car off and turn it back on i have to set the EQ again why doesn't it remember my settings?

    That i don't know. I had the same problem with my dad's kenwood excelon. Give me a little time on that, i'll ask around..

    do you have the constant wire hooked up??

    Check your fused memory wire (yellow) to see if its hooked up or if the fuse is bad.

    hooked up to what? i found the yellow wire and fuse is fine!

    it's suppossed to be hooked up to a constant 12volts.

    Hey Sarah, the power wires from your deck are probably backwards. There is two power wires, a red which is positive should be hooked to the ignition, so when you turn the key back the stereo comes on, and yellow which is also positive should be hooked to power that is all the time even when the car is off, that is how your deck will keep your settings and radio stations. If they are reversed the deck will still work but the memory is wiped every time you turn off the car. Also there is the black wire but that's fine you don't have to worry about that one it is ok, it is negative.
