Elemental Designs had a sub out for a lil while that was made to take up to 3000 watts rms daily

It was a big nasty sub that could take a lotta power...called the spv.2 and v3

sorry i should have caught that.but if you wire them to a higher load they may not blow.

lol, this guy is worse, i love how they get away with it. Says 3000 watts rms on top of page then 2500 watts peak on the right of the page, so it is only maybe 1500 watts rms. I don't usually buy from the states anymore, too much duties, but if there was one on ebay in canada i would grab it.

pedro that is a prosound driver....not really meant for car audio...it would work but would need a HUGE enclosure.

The xmax on that thing is what?? .25 inches??

well it said 3000 watts. it was in the car section of ebay.

to be honest i'm not sure you'll find 1 sub that will handle that amps output.not for 500 or less.

you know what.i just read the discription for that 21" sub.in small print it says msrp 169.00 and they are asking 200.

oops.sorry i SHOULD have read the whole thing.

then what about the hifonics sub though?1600rms 3200 peak.

ok, i might do that, i searched a bunch of different brands last night and couldn't come up with a single woofer at or around 2000 watts, not even jl or adire audio or even mtx besides the jackhammer which is insane lol 4000 watts rms. Does ed have subs rated at 2000 watts rms, i didn't see any.

Also i may be doing this for nothing lol looking at the specs....I can't run at 1 ohm can i ? for 1600 watts, i think my final load has to be 2 ohms. So i would only need a single 1000 watts rms sub and run it 1 x 800w @ 2 ohms bridged.

    Orion HCCA 2100

    2 x 100W @ 4 ohms
    2 x 200W @ 2 ohms
    2 x 400W @ 1 ohm
    2 x 800W @ ½ ohm (competition only)
    1 x 400W @ 4 ohms bridge
    1 x 800W @ 2 ohms bridge
    1 x 1600W @ 1 ohm bridge (competition only)

Might look at 2 or 4 woofers for this set up.

I posted a link to some soundstreams that were on sale DIRT CHEAP from parts express a while ago.......4 of the 10 or 12 incher DVC's in a right box would rip your face off with that amp!!!! each sub would see about 250 watts, and be well within their discplacemtn limited power handling capacity in a correct box! The sensitivity to them is high so that would make it even better. Take a look!!!!!!!!!!!

Just click on the spl 12 or the spl 10 for more info!!!

If I had the cash, i would buy several of each!!!!! those are NICE woofers!
