Okay. I want to wire my two kinetik hc1800's in parallel so the alternator charges both and the amps pull from both, correct?

Would one of you guys mind drawing me a diagram? Thanks guys.

also you can ground the back battery to the chassis if u want

Sorry for the crappy quality but I drew the diagram in Linux while running it live straight from a CD so it was touchy haha. As for the dotted line, that represents a 0guage wire connecting both negative terminals on the batteries. Now im not sure if it would be better to do it like that or connect both negative terminals straight to the chassis(essentially using it as a giant wire)

lol so that's basically the same thing... front positive to rear positive, front negative to rear negative, ground front negative... ground rear negative if i want

    lets see i have a 10 foot long 0 gauge cable, a 4.5foot long 0gauge, a 2 foot long 4 gauge and a 3.5 foot long 4 gauge...gonna measure the resistance and compare it

maybe try like 15 feet of 1/0 gauge and try the car's chassis and see what's better

I've only read the first 3 pages of the thread, but so far I've come to this conclusion: If you have a pickup with a very solid frame, ground the batteries to the chassis. If you have a car with a bunch of separate pieces welded together and painted, run 1/0 gauge from battery negative to battery negative.

wow so they were all the same?

btw the resistor is a 10kohm and it read 9.82kohm, and the 4 foot 4 gauge read .3

basically yeah they could have been .3648454 or .2465456
