oh well i learned somthing i always thought it was the added weight never been much of a ford guy always been a fan of fbodys more no offence of course lol yuh ive herd of the s/c for the N* the problem is its for 93-95 N*s which can be reprogrammed with obd-1. my etc is a 97 and no one yet has been able to hack the N* obd2 pcm. my only choice would be to run a piggy back system for fuel and timeing but that would be just rediculas to do, be much cheaper to buy a damn ferrari lol. heres a link to a guy who did a turbo on a 99 STS the thing does 12 sec 1/4s http://www.markonemtg.com/marks99sts/index.html click the video
well i must say that is pretty impressive for something that ways almost 2 tons,its original thats for sure but yeah turbos are basically cheap horsepower ive always been a turbo fanatic, so is my father, he's got a 1988 ford thunderbird turbo coupe yep it is a 4 cyl an wieghs at 3220lbs but embarass's most of the v8 mustangs an camaros and the ricers 4 sure an this isnt he's first tc he has had 2 others since 86
