Kicker L5 and ported Enclosure just sold, sigh.. will miss it. Oh well, doubled my cash on it!

 

i think i found my towns"getto stereo shop"

every day after work i pass this shop with "donks"in front of it.(cars/trucks with BIG rims)so today i stopped by looking to see if they had any good comps.

well they didnt,the salesman told me sorry around here we cater more to the big bass and loud mids and bullet tweeters.then he pulled out an "eminance"mid.it looked like a PA speaker.then showed me the pyramid tweeters.

on a side note he does carry probox brand sub boxes. man i heared one with a 10 like mine and it must have been 4 times as loud.then again he was pushing it with this big ass power acoustik 2000 watt amp.it was like 2 ft long.he also carries powerbass subs too.

the iceing on the cake was this guy that pulled up in a cadilac truck.the whole back seat was this fiber glass monstrosity of a box thing.it had subs and mids and a ton of bullet tweets.OMG it sounded like hell.it was more like a PA system on wheels.there was like no bass,it was all highs.

 

yep, my shop also cater more to the "ghetto fab" people.. thinks like 5 beyma 6.5 inch tweets in the doors.. pretty crazy stuff. had a 1000/1 powering 3 D3's in the trunk and barely heard any bass. not my cup of tea.
