i had the bass all the way up for that.started tell smell somthing burning(maybe the sub)

when i push my sub really hard i start smelling somthing burning.maybe a voicecoil

 

I'm running my kicker on a 200 watt amp too but it's only an ESA Amp. It's not bad! Can't imagine how 1600 watts of bass will be lol.

Could be, i've never burned an L5 or L7, the shop i went to managed to fry an L7 along with my amp. The smell is very distinctive.

ahh i see.i really need to see what the rear channels from my M44 are putting out power wise.i'm guessing 250ish.
