depends on your local and state laws....

I dont think there is anything illegal about it hear, now in your state things could be every differant

some states require alot to start ANY business, and other dont require anything more than a Tax id, indiana only requires alot if your a partnership or Corperation, not for sole propiortors(sp?)

 

well major things like Setting off air bags is only a MINOR part of the concern, if you deal with the general public as much as I do, both through my Full time job, and Shop4sound, you will see why it is not a good idea to have a service type business, any service type business, with out some level of personal protection.

 

Whatever you do, dont get into Powdercoating or building custom drumsets.... unless you got lots of cash to spend up front it isnt very lucrative(but I love doing it so I cant complain )

 

Fast money is always hard to come by. Not hanging out and doing things is too. Stuff is so expensive these days. Just dont get stuck in the credit thing. I'm stuck there right now. Its hard to get out of when u get deep into it.
