i would think so. and i hear even the type-r subs are bad azz! lol u may need a small amp. u may want an amp anyway to power then because it makes them sound better and u would probably like the way u can adjust the crossovers on an amp.

I have a ford also, you know you can fit 6.5's in a 5x7 hole. You'll have a lot better choices for speakers if you use 6.5's.

sorry.... audiocontrol. my bad. as far as the 5x7's go, they do have more cone area but 6.5's have a lot more choices. He has 5x7's in the kicks, I was thinking about adding 6.5's in the doors and trash the idea of putting speakers in the back.

oh ok. yeah having them all up front would most likely be better.

maybe the 6.5 for just midbass duties

its a good deal they are over 400 dollar speakers, but they are only 60W RMS and i wanna run a 400W 4 channel (100 per speaker) is that too much for them

thats pushing it. but if they are crossed over right they may be ok.

my infinity dash speakers have been doing well on 100 watts each and they are rated at 45 rms, but i had them crossed really high at 600 hz.

now i have them at 300 hz with around 50 each since my rewire.

    175-200 x2 up front to 2 6.5s(doors), 2 4's(dash). and 4 tweets(dash and a pillar). and 100 x2 to my rear 6x9's.450-500 to my sub.
