What the hell are you talking about, I posted for a sale item @ $120,I by no means made it sound like it is the best! I just put it out there for someone. Beleive me I know that there are much much better items out there, I think $120 is fair.

I never said that this is the best set-up in the world etc. What I do not understand is why everyone does not keep there own ignorant comments to them. I do not go bashing ther peoples for sale items and there is some real crapy stuff on here.

I never said my stuff was the best, ever!

And, Dave I am not that hard up to sell them just thought $120 was a good deal. And the tough guy internet stuff is valid, why the hell would someone bash sonmething that another peson is selling? Because they have a problem.

And the JL box is sufficent air space 1.00 cuFt, and a unique box type configuration.

is port size and tuning frequency matched to spec as well? Just because a ported box has the same size that the sub wants doesnt mean it will match up correctly. But hey I guess whoever is going to buy it should know that already. I wish someone would just buy it so I wouldnt have to watch the ad spam everyday.

I contact Elemental Designs with all the parameters, port lenght internal volume ETC. The gentlemen told me that the subs would have sufficent air space and port tunning would be fine.

I am not sure of the gentelemens name, but here is the real questions, would a 10" RF stage-3 in a vented 1.25 CuFt enclosure be better then the 2-ED's? I am also upgrading my front stage from Memphis MCSQ-15 (6.5" M-class) to CDT HD-6.5 golds (7" driver), & JL XR tweets.

Of course ED wanted me to buy there pre-fabed slot vented box for the dual 8's? I had a L7 in a big old vented box and wanted to get away froma huge box, that is why I thought the ED's would be perfect in that JL box, it fits awesome, it goes really low, but does not seem to have the overall punch the L7 had. Running an eclipse XA4000 to allfronts and rears and an eclipse xa1000 for the subs.

All Rockford Punch subs suck balls....Very poor quality. They will hit but are overpriced and not reliable.

    I'd rather get a 13Kv.2/3 than a P3

So you think a P3 10" would be a mistake? Should I keep the ED's and biuld a better box or tey a different box first?

Yes it would....Punch series subs suck balls.

You could try building the DD Loud box recommended from the site. That is their recommend daily driver loud box.

More port area = more sound; louder

Is there a special site on the web to find the box you are talking about? All i saw was recommened internal volumes, no box designs

Well...use that recommended volume and you can use the port calculator in WinISD...are you familiar with this program??

It doesn't take long to get used to it...it is an enclosure modeling program...and its FREE!!

one question, If I had a space in my hatch that I wanted to work with, will it give me the box cut dimensions that I need? Meaning If I want to fit the box in a 21 inch long area, 15" bottom to goes to approx 7" top because of the seats, will it give me the calculations based on my two 8" ED's?

Pretty much a wedge type box, ported?
