    oh, the nine.1 is at $195 but it's a pre order now and get it prolly by December. They sold out and are in between production runs so if you get it now you won't see it for a long time yet...

    O that sux. I dont wanna wait that long for it. I believe im gona get 1 2000 for now and run it at .5 ohm and then get another 2000 soon so i can go ahead and get the subs hooked up and ready to go. :)

    Well i found some time today to work on my box. :rolleyes: I got the port done with some corners. They are not 45s but they are shoe molden that goes in a corner and is round. Heres some pics. Im not getting a lot of time to work on it, but i when i find time, i try to get the most done when i can.

    looking good so far lifted! don't forget about the silicone on the edges to seal it up tight. :)

    Yep im putting silicone in the corners and fiberglassing the whole inside of the box this week along with some bracing.

    so you'll put resin on the whole inside of the box? not a bad idea... I should do that too!

    Thats correct CC. I heard it helps seal up all the cracks and helps strengthen it up 2.
    Are these pretty good eqs for the money. I dont want something too expensive but i want it to be pretty simple and still be decent.

    I have to try that with my next box. Are you still using 3/4 MDF or did you use 1"?

    why would you wanna get a eq? doesn't the deck have a good EQ? if you could find a used audiocontrol three.1 that would be sweet. it's a line driver as well and it has all the goodies you need. I did find one used but it's already sold...

    Its got a pretty good eq on it, but i like having knobs to turn instead of buttons to push. Its alot easier and faster. I may look into that 3.1.

    I started fiberglassing the box today. I only had time to do the corners before i had to go eat for my gmas bday. Heres some pics. I will be fiberglassing the whole inside tho. I no it aint the best fiberglassing but its only my second time do it and it dont really matter how it looks in the box as long as its smooth. What yall think so far?

    link dont work for me, but if its like the one i took out its ok. it just made my sub pop when i shut down the system. maybe its just my unit?

    how much is it?

    Its like 59.99. I guess ill pass on that one. Ill either get the powerbass eq and the phoenix gold line driver, or get a eq with a built in line driver.

    what kind of eq does your head have now? try the line driver then see if you need or want one. i took mine out because of the sub pop, but it doesnt do it when wired thru my head unit. so i know its the eq.

    i might use it in my moms car or....??

    are you just using resin? just keep the coats thin so it'll dry faster. a lot of thin coats should make that box hella strong!

    Yep CC, im just using resin and on the some of the bigger corners, i used some mat also.
    I got the whole box fiberglassed inside tonite. I missed one spot in the port but ill touch it up.

    lookin good man. i did the same for my box. i didnt take any pics cuz it was ugly lmao. but i ended up spray painting the inside black, so you cant really tell.
