There is a wood place like 45 mins from my house that has and my dad used to get lots of wood from then when he was building cabinets. I think my dad said it around $42 for a 4x8 sheet 1" thick.

so is it going to be 2" double baffle. dang thats wicked thick!! pricey but worth it.

if its going to be 2'' might as well counter sink the subs with 3/4 in.

16 8's ima guess low 50's with music, burps ...... um 155. in that small of a cab being as sealed as possible is a must!! so start doubling up the door seals, and deaden the **** out of it. spray foam all the nooks and crannies.

you need to kill any flexing too. flexing = loosing any energy that can go to the meter.

if it was me, and since its a small interior. i would just pull out as much as i could and deaden. even the dash, yes under the dash and the center console and all. make it as solid as you can.

my friend buzz did his whole truck. about 300 LBs worth. omg!! its like a knocking on the concrete, its that solid.

im not saying go out and spend 1k on deadener, but hit up the key parts. i.e roof and rear wall, and the doors. deff all 4 sides of the doors. outer skin, inner door, outer door, and door panel too.

fill in those side panels in the extended cab behind you. if it rattles....kill it!

ive heard that bed liner spray is a good deadener too, as long as its put on thick.

we have this air pump cabinet next to our press that houses our pumps, and they get very loud and hot. the inside walls are covered in an acoustic foam and its like night and day when you stick your head in the cabinet to do maintenance.

i think an a/c store might carry this. its awesome. we have like 3 sq ft at work but its not near enough to do anything with.

Yea, im hoping for around 152-153 on music. I wana bassrace in the 149.9 class. As for deadener, im getting like 200 sq ft of second skin. Im stripping my truck down over christmas break. Ill def post pics of it when i start the build. It should get down on the lows. To start with, im gona have 2 sundown 3500s and the box is around 14 cubes tuned to 30-32 hz. Then, im upgrading to 2 sundown 4500s. :) :)
