Liftedrangers new build- 4 15s

    if money allows i just might. i wanna do it with my NINE.5 too. its doing 530ISH at 2 ohms now with impedance rise.

    i want to figure out how to get it to a true 1 ohm load and get the full 700ish to 900 ive heard it can do.

    It also has to do with the number of subs and the box also. I think 8 8s would be loud also. I should have the design or something close to what its gona be for the 16 8s posted next weekend.

    Well i had to take my system out today. I thought i had a bad ground, but come to find out, one of the wires in the d block came unhooked. While i got it out, im gona relocate my amp to the side of the box and smooth out the port. I also ordered a 300 amp alternator from DC power tuesday. That should be here next week and im hoping to have it on next saturday. Ill update as i go.

    Sweet. After christmas, im gona order a 2nd 300 amp alt and get like 6 d3100batteries.

    Yea im either gona get a tool box, or build a box and spray bedliner on it to put in the bed for the batteries. You cant never have too much electrical and i want to stay in the 14 volts with 2 3500s at 1 ohm.


    KVO, ill definitely give you a demo at SBN. Im hoping it should be a pretty good demo vehicle and do pretty good hair tricks.

    Idk about 14 volts, but i know they make 16 volt batteries.

    what brand again? if its XS then i know they may have just made a 14v batt and some new voltage step up control for stock alts.

    you can set your stock alt to charge with more voltage. kinda like an MLA module. from 12v to 16v. the amperage stays the same. can even be used on a high output alt too.

    i like their Ibar batt terminals. i could use one of those so i can mount my kinetic under the hood and have 4 posts. that way i only have to wrestle with one batt in back, and maybe use the duralast in my moms car. or sell it.

    Yea, me 2. I see some hairtricks coming. :) :)


    Well, my mom just txted me and said that my DC alt just came in for my ranger. Its a 300amp but may put out more. :) :) I cant wait to get home and get some pics of it. Me and team nemesis dj are gona put it on tomorrow and hes also gona measure and start designing for my new clamshell. Ill post pics today of the alt and ill post some tomorrow of it installed and some numbers for the amps it puts out. My system is currently out bc im relocating my amp and redid my port. Hopefully ill have it back in this week then i can get some pics of my voltage after the alt upgrade.
