whats the cone area of 16 8's? and what is it of 4 18's? wait... y dont i know this formula? hook me up someone!

pi = 3.14 r = radius of sub

One 8" = 50.27
One 10" = 78.54
One 12" = 113.1
One 15" = 176.71
One 18" = 254.47"

 

16 8's have an approximate are of 803 in^2 and 4 18's have approx 1013 in^2. Of course no cone is an actual 8 or 18 inch cone but the 18's would still have more cone area.

and i think 32 of any sub will get down. what does he meter with 32 12's?

i sooo want to do a whole mess of 8's too. in a 4th order bandpass tho.

mine get stupid @ 26 HZ. but one will bottom out at louder vol levels, so i have to watch out or "pop pop pop pop" it goes.

if i could tho id do 8 with 800 to 1000 watts. just to show people it doesnt take an ass ton of power and super huge subs to move some air. mine can blur your vision a lil bit already. its cool as hell, lol.

i wanna do it with cheap subs too. just to prove a point.

 

do it with some tangbands! those have rediculous xmax if i remember right.
