haha, ya i should write a paper how to burn a sub...

I got two kickers now, two more coming soon, will post pics in a sec. Actually i'm not sure now if i have room for 4 subs, will be tight, this box barely fit.

wouldnt...lets say 4 of those 13$ ED subs take the abuse?

if wired into say 8ohms or so.since a really low load kills your subs too quick.

just checked the power handling for 4 of those.800 watts rms. maybe those wont handle THE BEAST!!

what subs have you gone thru lately?

Haha, lets see, it's getting to be a long list. I had an Elemental Designs 18", burned, well started making a big noise on each bass hit, i think it was a mechanical failure on that one lol, about 6 infinitys, two kickers L5 and an L7, i just had a set of Kenwoods i have been using for a month or so and i just gave it back to my friend still working LOL, So i'm getting better. These Kicker cvr122s are good speakers and will be cheap to replace. I'm liking the idea of 4 of them more and more. I've never burned an MTX though, the only ones that survived my abuse. 4 of them is 1600 watts Rms so i'll have to take it easy on them when i drop to 1 ohm.

I have it pumping big time on this one box now. Turned off the loudness on my deck, the bass way down, and bass boost off on my amp, then i turn it up!! Woooooooooooo, also this way the amp doesn't heat up as fast and it has plenty of bass.

so how many watts are those getting right now?

i did a rewire some time back and am running my sub on around 200-220watts 40x2 for rear fill and around 275-300x2 for the front stage.

i have my M50's running duel mono.one is left and the other is the right ch.i'm sure thats how i ruined my passenger tweet.i even had the gains all the way down.

got nice and loud when i needed it to,with plenty of power for midbass. oh well.

Im running at 2 ohms so they are getting an underated 800 watts rms. Probably more like 1000, i guess i should take it easy on these too. Sigh.. It's like being locked in a candy store overnight but you can only eat one candy every half hour lol.

I can send you a couple of these tweets if you want them, i won't charge you for them. Part of my ebay crap i've been holding on to.

Actually it would be more like this, all one chamber inside the box for 4 subs. Good Idea? I'm trying to make it fit with my spare tire still accessable.

Still, waiting for my 0 gauge wire that i ordered so i haven't done anything yet at the back, but i just figured out that i'm killing both batteries with this setup lol. Most likely from my install and the inadequate wire but this amp is ridiculous. I think i may need a third battery and maybe a second alternator? LOL I have a good spot for one where the air condition compressor is. The AC doesn't work anyways.

Maybe i should run 0 gauge from front to back instead of the 4 gauge that's there now. Sigh..

If i go for a drive and pump the tunes for like half an hour then the voltage starts dropping to 11.3-11.6 while driving..And i got stuck at the gas station for about 20 minutes today. Wouldn't start.

    I'd definitely do a 0 gauge run

my explorer would start even when the battery was at like 10.8 volts...I dunno why it was low that morning...totally random though...I woke up and decided to meter the battery....I was like wtf is it doing at 10.8 volts. but she cranked up just fine...didn't sound any different
