yes i saw the vent change to red thought i could squish it in there. I ran it again this morning, tried with square and round vents...I can get an ok response but the normalized output seems to be hanging around 50hz no matter what i try, everything else is peaking at 40 hz. Is that due to the smaller box so it will be peaky? Trying to understand what i'm going for here. I'm thinking normalized response and max acoustic power should peak at the same frequency.? I think one big box for both speakers performs better too. Will run it again that way one last time.

It is due to the smaller enclosure. Thats the reason prefab ported boxes tend to work well in a very small (narrow) frequency range. But they are typically only around 1.5 to 1.75 cu ft.

Your box at 2.25 cu ft will lose a little low end and a little peak but it should not be that bad.

Remember that the rules I use are generalizations and will not always apply. Thats why we need sofeware to see whats going on.

ok, i can't get the normalized response to move over to 40 hz on these subs for some reason but everything else seems ok i think,

Then would I be better off with a 4.5 cube single chamber tuned to 40 Hz? Oh and by the way, I haven't even seen pvp pipe at the hardware store bigger than 4" ID.

it's 4.9 cubic feet, a little bigger, you shouldn't lose any bottom end with this, not too sure about the normalized response though but i've tried everything i think. Let's see what azn or ranger says. The pvc i think is available up to 24 inches round but i haven't checked it out yet myself.
Sorry azn, not trying to cut your grass lol, just wanting to learn this program.

Ok, i ran it again, i don't know what else to try, this looks like the best so far i think. Only way i can get the normalized response to move over is to go like 9 cubic feet but then the acoustic power suffers. If this is good to go, i will post the rest of the design.

you sure you have 43 inches across easy, you might want to double check your trunk, make sure before you build lol.
