Kicker 750.1 amp...what kind of subs/box?

    The box is just to make it look legit. I'm going to make my own, maybe I'll use that one as like a stencil.

    well, the amp is one ohm stable it claims, so i would go with a DVC, each voice coil 2 ohms, then hook her up. should rip your face off once you get a proper enclosure built!!!!

    whats a DVC? oh and does that mean I should get the dual 2 voice coils?

    Yes...amp is very stable at 1 ohm...it is even strappable!!!

    Get the dual 2 ohm version of the 19Ov.2 and wire it parallel to the amp.

    Upgrade your BIG THREE

    Get ATLEAST a 4 gauge wiring kit

    At 1 ohm the amp will REALISTICALLY put out ATLEAST 1200 watts...ED amps are very underrated and they are also rated at 12.5VDC.

    Which means you'll be putting out even more power at 13.8+ volts that your vehicle puts out when the engine is running!!!

    Also...please DO NOT have CIRCUIT CITY install this equipment...Please take it to a local REAL car audio shop and installion place

    Circuit City and big box stores do half ass sh!t...well just from experience

    Well the insurance company is sending me a sheet that will get me free installation at circuit city. I think I'll let circuit city install the head unit, and the 6x9s cuz they're a pain in the ass in my car. I'd wire up the amp and sub myself with some help from you guys, but the amp kit wires have been cut and all screwed up from the theft, so I guess I'll let circuit city fix that, wire up everything, then take some pictures and ask you guys if they did a good job.

    Well we faxed the insurance company the 3 things...they said they have access to just about every brand except Elemental Designs. I have to pick something else.

    does cuircut city still sell kicker subs where you are at?they dont anymore by me.try a kicker solo baric 12 in thier factory box.those things get down and dirty.

    OR... iknow for sure they sell mtx subs,and eclipse subs.they sound good in the store so they should sound good in your vehicle.


    um......molest my mongoose.....i got nothing.LOL

    And since when did Eclipse put out a good sub? I havent heard anythoing out of them from some time other thatn HU's.......
