Well I ordered 35 feet of blue eNETIC 1/0 gauge wire (4459 strands of tinned oxygen free copper). Do you think I'd be best off ordering set screw ring terminals like the ones on knukonceptz?

    no...those are not needed

I use pure copper lugs..works perfectly. I don't like that gold, chrome, platinum plated crap

But how the hell am I going to crimp them?

Also, I'm about to order this for the fused power distribution and this for the ground distribution. Do these look good?

My "amp rack"... it's more like a raised piece of MDF to attach my amps, distribution blocks, and wires to. It's raised up so it can fit over the spare tire attachments on the back shelf, and allow the screws holding everything down to go through and hang down without going into the floor of the shelf.

Eventually I'll make a real amp rack... kind of like mine upside down with a cover over the amps with fans, neon, etc.

    upside down^

I have to attach those 3 amps, 2 distribution blocks, and all the wires, how do you think I should place everything on the rack?

you can buy some 1/2 inch screws and not worry about the long screws.

And with that board you can make it look SUPER CLEAN

drill holes to run the wire straight down into the board and hide underneath and route them out somewhere else instead of seeing bundles of wires ran all over the place

I think I'll get some 1.5" screws and nuts... more theft deterant. I also bought a U-bolt to attach it to the spare tire thing.

Hmm... I could do that. Originally I was thinking a crapload of wires ziptied and attached to the board would look pretty shnazzy lol.

I still need 1 long RCA cable, 1 short RCA cable, remote wire, ring terminals, split loom tubing, components, carpet for the box/amp rack, anl and mini-anl fuses.

    1. How big should my 1/0 guage anl fuse be? 200A? 250A? 300A?
    2. How big should my three mini-anl fuses on the distrubiton block be? 60A?
    3. What kind of RCA cables should I get?
    4. Is the short RCA cable attaching the two 400.1's a normal RCA cable just shorter?
    5. Has anyone ordered from woofersetc.com?
    6. Do you think these would be good components?
    7. They're 110 rms per speaker/tweeter combo right?
    8. What size split loom do you need for 1/0 gauge?

Hey I might know somebody who would want this box. Ill try to let you know tomorrow. Would you take 100 shipped? Hes a tight wad and don't believe anything I learned on this site and that a good box should cost like 50 bucks. Anyways. Would this box be good for 2 Type R's? Ill tell him all the info on the box which is "44" wide, 17" tall, 18.5" deep, 31 sq. inches of port per chamber...and tuned to 35hz" Thanks. shipping is from 54732. Thanks

I'll need to weigh it when I get home so I can get a shipping quote... and of course, finish building it lol.

    1. 200 amp is fine

    2. 60 amps is fine for the fuse block

    3. doesn't really matter...some 15 dollar rcas will work fine

    4. an rca cable is an rca cable...they come in all different sizes and lengths. YES the shorter cable is an rca cable

    5. I haven't ordered from woofersetc.com but I may get a Lightning Audio X.1 sub from there later on some time

    6. I've heard good things about those...very good speakers for the price also

    7. 110 watts rms total per side yes...Don't need that much though

    8. 0 gauge wire is about 3/4 in. loom

The 10" one for $159?? I was looking at that too. 1000 rms watts... is lightning audio a good company?

That sub is actually made by TC Sounds...that is their custom patented motor and basket design.

It is just a TC Sounds woofer with a "Lighting Audio" logo on it

Oh yeah... someone else was saying I should add up the fuses in my amps to get the main anl fuse... so two 40A fuses (one in each 400.1) and two 25A fuses (both in 350.2) for a grand total of a 130A fuse on the 1/0 gauge by the battery. He also said I should use the same size in the dist. block... so a 40A fuse, a 40A fuse, and a 50A fuse.

yes that sub is VERY good...TC Sounds is a very good and reputable company.

Doesn't matter what size the inline fuse is as long is it does not exceed the current handling capacity of the wire.

Hell you can use 8 gauge and "add up" the fusing of the amps and you'd have a chance of heating up that wire really quick at full tilit...that "add up the amps fuses" crap is fine but you have to have the right wire to handle that current.

I'd go with a 200 amp if you ever plant on upgrading ANYTHING in the future. And 200 amps if plenty safe for 0 gauge.

distro block you will be fine with all 40 amp fuses
