"Also, I found my manual. It says it has a subwoofer output connecter, a preamp out connector (rear), and a preamp out connecter (front)."

just use the front and sub out to your amps.

Well just use the sub output for your sub amp and just daisy chain the signal cables.

if you have a 4 channel for your highs than just the front and rear outputs also

Wow, I wouldn't even read this thread through again and it's my thread lol.

Well Azn, I don't really know what that means, so I suppose I should just order everything but the RCA cables now, build the sub box and amp rack, and when it comes time to plug in the amps I'll take some pictures of the back of the head unit and find out exactly what I'll need.

for signal to the sub amps...you only need one rca cable going from the head units sub preout to one of the amps...then buy a short rca cable a to go from the amps preout to the other sub amps input.

    Get the idea???

For the highs amp, I forget if you are getting a 2 channel or 4 channel amp.

Well the amps and sub won't ship out until Monday because they didn't have one of the amps in stock. I'm going to wait till the amps and sub get here before I order the components, 1/0 guage, and distribution blocks.

Azn, what are you going to power with that nine.1? and what defect?

yes...my amp came in earlier today around 6.

It was shipped wednesday and came today...2 days shipping ground is FAST...FedEx baby

Well the defect was that the amp would turn on and put out a few watts of power...then if you turned the gain up the amp would shut off...I don't know why...ED was super awesome and said we'll send you a return stamp and send you a new one...They mailed me a new one before I even mailed back the defect...ALSO there was a couple chips on one part of the amp.

I'm not sure how the chips got there cuz ED tests all amps and makes sure the amps are in pristine condition before they are packaged and shipped. But hell we're all human and mistakes are made. ED has some great customer service and took care of me immediately.

Right now I'm prolly just gonna use my friends MA Audio HK150XC in my custom ported box that I built for my old school 15W4 while I fix the sub... I found out I can prolly fix it. Took the dust cap off and I am gonna solder new leads on there.

In a couple weeks I'm gonna get a 19Ov.2 though. I'll be the only person in my high school with an 18 inch sub baby...big ballin. Gonna build a sealed box first and then a huge ported box for comparison.

1200 watts at 1 ohm at 12.5 volts baby...I love this amp

Nice.. that's pretty damn good customer service to send you another based on your word and you haven't sent the defect back yet. I may have to check Elemental Designs out in the future for a sub. After i fry my Rockford Fosgate lol.
Let us know how it is. I hope you have an alarm system, getting worried about my stuff, i have an alarm but i need to make the amp secure somehow and hidden and i'm not showing anyone! lol screw that. Been there done it.

Same here. So far this year...

My car stereo got stolen at school. A week later they got 6 more car stereos. A couples months later they stole my friends whole car and stripped it clean, just a frame. Then yesterday someone pulled the pins out of the valve stems of everyones tires so about 300 cars had flat tires... and compressors won't help because you need the tool to screw in the pin. I love school security. They even got the dean's corvette.
