Here is the car I had before the Bonneville...This is a Firebird Formula....I built the sub enclosure to fit in the rear well.....The amp rack is up in front...Fans inside there too....Built hinged, carpeted lid for amp rack and a carpet grill for subs...all hidden when driving parked....Three kenwood amps and the Kickers.

Did it sound weird? Do you need fans on the subs?

No.....Fans were in the amp rack to cool the amps.....Since they were inside of something in both cars......

I'm not sure where to put my amp...

Right now my amp is limited to being attached to the back of the seats because that's how long the RCA's, remote, and power wires were from the last stereo, but I'd love to do some sort of amp rack. I just need some ideas.

why not a piece of wood covered in carpet screwed down were the amp is now.then drill some holes for the wires to come thru from underneath.simple.

or a piece on your seat back.and the amp on it.

lol Well at least I got a good deal on that alarm I got...

viper 5900 alarm, trunk coverage, installation, lifetime warranty, and tax for $428 out the door. The msrp for the alarm alone is $660. Though I didn't get the remote start installed.

OK REALLY REALLY ****ED OFF NOW

My MB Quart amp is toasted...gotta send it back for a new one or get it fixed whatever.

Whenever I turn it on the protect light comes on and one of the transformers(I think thats what it is, well the round donut thing wrapped in copper wire) just gets really hot and nothing happens...only one of the donut things gets hot....my friend bench tested it at the shop and it doesn't work.

So is there a simple solution or do I have to send it back...shipping and handling is a bitch

I would never own one of those either, for I am a law abiding citizen and do not own anything over .5 inhces in diameter that is capable of firing a round....this is true.

What do you guys think of Fi subs? I'm pretty sure I've asked this before but I can't find it... this thread is 80 pages long lol. All the guys on the lowrider website I go on like rave about them. Here Their lowest model 12" sub, the X12, is 300 rms and goes for $120 shipped. Does that seem expensive to you guys?

Fi is just a newcomer in the industry and everyone busts a nut over them...

I'm not really a fan of them as a lot of people are like I'd recommend some Fi's.

Like Viking said...they are just another brand of speaker.

Okay I want to do some type of beauty panels in my trunk to clean it up. Here's some pictures of my trunk. What do you guys think I should do?

NOTE: the yellow part of the measuring tape is measured to 14" which is the depth of my box...
