Kicker 750.1 amp...what kind of subs/box?

    Hey my amp came in. You know how Kicker stuff come with a certificate for its power...well is that rms or peak?

    Mine says "Total Maximum Power Output (watts) 470"

    does it say if thats in 2 or 4 ohm?

    That would be the total max....but it is still rms of 400 at 2 ohms...should be

    Don't worry about it...Kicker is just wierd

    Dude I have two of my friends L7's in my explorer right now powered by a Memphis MC1000D at 1 ohm, but the subs are in a prefab ported box...but my old setup of one JL 15W4 and 300 watts was louder...much louder.

    For a comparison that is 1100 watts rms on two 12L7s in a prefab vs. 300 watts rms and one JL15W4 in a custom box (designed by Ranger, thanks)...and the JL wins in SPL and SQ hands down

    Yeah, especially for $175 shipped....god I wish I had known about the wonders of ebay when I bought my first system.

    Well I plan on ordering the sub tonight, and I have to borrow somebody's jigsaw to cut the subwoofer hole in the MDF, so my guess is 1-2 weeks unfortunately.

    Okay the damn paypal on ebay wouldn't work for my dad again. He even tried setting up a completely new account. Has anyone ordered from techronics.com??? Are they a legit website? Are their products really new?

    I bought it from techronics. The only stereo equiptment local besides circuit city is stolen sh!t...I don't support that.
