Okay, when I put this box together...

Should I use would glue and 2" coarse thread screws, then caulk the interior?

Any tips for putting this thing together?

Yes....I always PREDRILL the ends first and then screw em in a little bit so the boards wont move on ya....then predrill the rest of the length. Unscrew the ends, lay down some glue (I always spread it with my finger to cover it and then screw the sides.

Screws should be 4 inches apart.

The screws are only there to CLAMP the wood while the glue dries...Unless you have a good amount of clamps I'd just use screws...easier

So when you're putting two boards together...for predrilling...

Do you drill the hole through one board, put it up next to the other one the way you want them lined up, stick the bit through the hole u just made, then drill into the second one and make the hole?

    and what kind of caulk?

Well...I get a tape measure and mark off all the points...then I get a right angle ruler and mark off 3/8's inch from the edge so the screws will be centered in the MDF side.

I predrill one end then screw...predrill the other end and screw...then predrill the rest...undo everytihng and glue and screw

I screw the ends in so the boards won't move while I'm predrilling

Any caulk you want...black caulk, white caulk, yellow caulk, blue caulk...it all does the same job.

I just get the DAP bathroom caulk in the hand sqeeze tube from Lowes. Sqeeze a small bead in the joint and then take my finger and smooth it in there

I've got that insulating foam sealant that hardens and is air and water tight, and I've got mortor/concrete caulk.

    Will either of those work?

    um...I wouldn't use either..

Dude a tube of that DAP bathroom caulk/adhesive at Lowes cost like $1.75. One sqeeze tube is enought for your enclosure. I've used it instead of wood glue also and its strong as hell.

lol...eazy...you're making it harder than it is...but hell we're adding to the length

I was driving home from work and had it up a little higher than normal...than the bass suddenly got like half as loud...I was like damn I f u ck ing fried one...came home and looked at it...locked up like there's no tomorrow. lol

I was gonna give em to my bro for christmas. Welp looks like I gotta get him something else now

Ah ****, I left for the hardware store before you replied...they were going to close. The guy at the hardware store told me to use 100% silicone.

I don't like using a caulk gun cuz you can't get all the joints

What am I doing wrong? Am I not predrilling deep enough or something?

Well that's what it was, I wasn't predrilling deep enough. All the rest of the holes were fine. I attached the bottom, left and right side, and put the port together...but didn't attach it to the bottom yet.
