Ported baby...If you call up ED or drop them an email they can help, they have really good customer service cuz I've asked about a lotta stuff...but on the site it lists sealed and ported box volumes and tuning.

    Spec 19Ov.2 Subwoofer
    -Sealed ( small ) 2.0cF
    -Sealed ( ideal ) 2.5cF
    -Sealed ( large ) 3.0cF
    -Vented ( ideal ) 3.5cF Tuned to 30Hz
    -Vented ( DDLoud) 3.5cF Tuned to 35Hz

To me 3.5 cu ft is small for a really loud ported box...my box for my JL 15W4 is 4.3 cu ft...tell them what kind of room you have and they'll most likely help you out

Would there be any sound difference between one at 1200rms vs. two at 600rms each?

What kind of differences am I going to see between the 19Ov.2 sealed and ported?

I don't know, they said something to my dad like they only cover up to $500, and said after my cd player and speakers, theres only like $93 left.....but I have my receipt saying I paid $164.99 for the cd player and $89.99 for the speakers.....I was supposed to get free installation, if they try to use part of the $500 for that, I'll install it myself. Basically I have no idea what's going on. The lady has to talk to some boss and she said we'll "be in touch."

Well I got a sheet from the insurance company saying I get free installation for my cd player and speakers at circuit city. I'm still waiting on this amp/sub situation.

I spent last night re-doing my powers and grounds. After reading up, and you folks talking about the big three, I can't believe I never though of at least a 4 gauge to the body. Still trying to wrap my brain around the 4 gauge from the alternator to the battery, but if you say it's what needs to be done, then thats next. My headlights quit dancing as well.

    Thanks. You guys rock.

Indeed...Im going to redo my big three with 2 gauge from rural king.

Yeah my friend got his camry broken into and they stole his AVIC-D1, two 12 inch Type R's, Old schoo Kenwood amp, walkie talkies, and some other ****.

His insurance said they'd cover it cuz he has full coverage...now they are saying that he needs reciepts for everything and have pics of it in his car.

    bullsh!t

Liberty Mutual...everything was bolted down except the subs, circuit city wouldn't bolt those down because my gas tank is right under/behind my trunk.

Ya, the wire from the alt. to the batt. honestly doesnt need to be much bigger than 8ga. in all reality, beins how it is in parallel with the factory wire, but what the heck, you got all this 4 ga. sittin around, night as well use it!
