thats pretty much what we play, like metallica covers, staind, judas priest, flaw, anything hard rock or metal like that but its tough playing with 5 people in a band cause you know when one person messes up you all mess up, im a lead guitarist so its kinda hard to keep up with the song cause i play fast and it throws us off sometimes

 

lol i was always the one speeding up, you get pumped and into it. so everyone had to follow me no choice lol

was at my budies house again,and his daughters friend was replaceing his cd player in one of his cars.so we get to talking about our stereos and all and he shows me his set up............oh man,kids i swear!


the sub amps bass boost....all the way up.18db's.filter set to full range.

radio settings,...bass +6,treble -1.

so i ask him if i can tweak it.he did ask me why his radio sounds bad.

so i'm in the trunck and just for fun i put the VOM on his sub amp.it's a nitro 2000 watt.

i measured 27volts.so his amp was putting out only560.to 2 12 in pioneers.that bummed him out.,but after i tweaked it sounded better for what he had. he didnt know his alpine had a sub vol setting.he was useing the bass control.

thank you!he was bummed that his amp wasnt doing 2000 watts. what do you expect from crap.he payed 200 for 2 pioneer 12's a box 2 amps and a cap.
the bass was tighter sounding after i was done.all he had was that slowed down **** music.and all i have is my ipod.

i'm going to have to burn a SQ cd to keep in the truck for such ocations.lol.

cool, my first set was a Pearl President black, cheap but who cares i was getting drums lol

 

i used to like how it sounded on the outside of the car till i got some money and got a good sytem and learned all about the features of amps. i still dont know all of the features but i can learn. i think its funnny when i look at stuff i would of bought along time ago if i didknt know about the difference about rms and max wattage.
