I just tried using a Pioneer 2ch 240w amp. I bridged it with my Sony and I'm starting to think it sounds better with the 240w than the 1600w Cuspid. Is this really possible?

Is there a cheap amp I can buy that would be better than the 2ch pioneer 240w?

Does the frequency response seem a little high to you? 50hz is pretty high... right?

will you be using one 4 ohm sub or two?

cause if you are using the 1 sub then a good 2ch amp bridged to 1 ch will work. as long as it is a 4 ohm sub.

Wow I can't believe your recommending me a 5-channel amp for one sub lol
    plus I'm aiming for <$100

I think I'm just gonna hit up craigslist and see what they got then post a link and see if you guys approve.

well you dont seem to have an amp for your mids and highs. this one will do it all and for only 134. not too much over your 100 limit.

that is most likely the crossover setting. 150 hz to as low as 50hz lowpass.

my head units' sub out goes from 200 to 50 hz.
