Well today I went and showed my friend who has two 12" Type Rs sealed off a JL 500/1. He didn't believe it was only a single 12 and 200 watts.

Now he wants me to build him a new box. Type R + T-Line + 500/1 should be another interesting build

I want to build one now... Azn, you gotta teach me how to build that. 250watts with that kind of roof flex? that thing hits hard.. I have a lot of space in my expedition if i take out the 3rd row. Just let me know how to do it cuz i want to start it within the week. I hate my sealed enclosure.

I want one too now ya bastard lol, i looked at the site quickly, there's like a million formulas there, do you use theile parameters in the equations?

Nice vid by the way, 200 watts and it's doing that, imagine 1000 lol

I was way too lazy to read the whole thing... I didn't understand that much anyway. lol..

Azn, let us know how to make one of those. what formulas to use etc.. This will be my first time to make an enclosure...

Nine.1 will be hooked up tomorrow. I can hear a little bit of clipping on certain songs.

Actually I found out a weird thing about my roof. It has two peak points of flex kinda like a waveform. I can see it when it flexes. Right near the middle of the roof there is a big peak in the flex and then a dip then right near the rear of the roof there is another peak. When I took that video I placed the remote on the part where it flexes the least. I would take some more videos of the sub also but I have no memory card for the camera yet and the internal memory sucks balls

Thing is that I got this roof flex with my single 15 and 800 watts but at a higher frequency. This box does really slam the lows and sounds really good doing it. Does well in the upper frequencies too but with not as much spl...sounds awesome though.

Well the basic textbook 1:1 ratio T-Line is fairly simple.

Line Area is = to Driver Sd

Line Length is = 1/4 wavelength of Driver Fs

I read from another site that a good starting point is 5-10Hz above driver Fs.

This T-line is tuned to around 31Hz...the subs Fs is 20 Hz. Sounds terrific.

Tomorrow I'm going to Mt. Vernon to do a trade...a dual 12 sealed box for a small mono amp (gf's car)

Today I tested to see if the new t-line moves any air. It moves more air than I thought...I'll try to get a vid tomorrow

Nice deck, which model is that, looks similar to mine Pioneer DEH-P7700MP. 13.7 volts, Mine is around there too, usually 13.6, 13.5 without my stereo on. Seems low to me for a 130 amp alternator but i guess it is measuring with two batteries, i think that affects my reading a little.
