    this is something bart said on one of the forums a while back...not sure how true theses are....as they were just what they were aiming at but anyhow....



    Pricing...
    The prices are not set in stone yet, but here's what we think they will be.

    10" - $300
    12" - $325
    15" - $350
    1600w monoblock amp - $350

    Those are where we aim to set the permanent prices. Preorder prices will be slightly lower, naturally


    should give you an idea....

    Nice pics Chris.....


    As for the 10" W7......it sounds fantastic in that box. Definitely one of the best sounding (if not the best) subs I have heard.

    That 15" was incredible though.

    What's new with your Better Audio project? Any timeframe for the preorder of the subs? What might we be looking at as far as preorder pricing?

    Haha.. Wow! A whole Acura's worth of subs!
    Tell you what, if you are talking about quantities like that, I'll get you a whole special order at a price that would give you a permanent grin! :lol:
    My, whatever would you put them all in? lol :D

    Anyways, I definitely have an update for you...

    Our first run of AMPS is as good as ready.. had assembly dates for the end of this week, possibly shipping to us this weekend! Definitely something to drool over too... 1600 RMS, adjustable crossover and subsonic filters, remote gain control...
    We should have pictures up on our site in the next few days (we still haven't been able to get a picture ourselves yet.. that's how new this news is!)

    Our first run of SUBS could be very close too.. we are still screwing around with suspension on the subs... basically besides the spider, we know exactly how we want the sub to be, and we are just narrowing it down to two that we have singled out now.. sometimes it pays to be picky.. that last little detail.
    Dual 2 ohm coils, thermally rated at 1600 RMS, but depending on our final suspension choices, I expect mechanically the sub won't need that much power.. sort of a built in safeguard against blowing a sub, if you will.. We are going to try something a little different with our power ratings, we are going to publish the mechanical powerhandling ratings, basically "what the sub should get" in various size and type enclosures... we are hoping to never have a customer who tries to put their "1600 watt RMS" sub in a 6 cu.ft. box tuned to 55Hz and wonder why they bottomed it out on just a few hundred watts playing a 0dB 20Hz test tone... ;)

    At any rate, I'll update you as soon as we finalize pricing! I expect some great deals when we do the preorder pricing.

    haha that car is only worth like 1k if im lucky. when i post pics of it and list whats wrong with it(tomorrow possibly) you will have a permanent grin too :D
