Hello Everyone

The orange wire didn't have anything to go to, so I just taped it off.

In the next week or so I will be working on my Ipod mount that will go in the pace of the ashtray. I don't know exactly what I can use for the mount though, I'm looking at some type of foam material.

 

I just want it to fit right where the ashtray is. I've got it all worked out in my head, I just need to make it a reality. I'll post some pics of my idea.

 

I'm loving my new deck, It sounds way better than the stock hu. I can't wait till I understand how to use all the different functions. I got clock set once, only to have daylight savings time happen...

So I think next up will be the door speakers, which I beleive are 5 by 7's. Someone recomended some speakers earlier in this thread so i will have to go back and look. When I put in the new speakers I was thinking of using baffles and polyfill.

I was reading the thread about Dave's Ranger install, he is doing it to all the speakers. I don't really understand how these things work, except that they make the speaker sound better.

I'm also trying to figure out if i want to put sound dedener in the doors. I figure I I have the door panel off I might as well do everything.

 

So wheres the best place to get fabric to cover a custon enclosure. I want to have the same type of fabric throughout my trunk.

 

So does anyone have a good scource for trunk fabric?

I've decided to do my door speakers next. I've been enjoying my Alpine hu and ipod cable but now I'm looking for more out of my speakers. have a few in mind but haven't wuite narrowed it down yet.
