EHQS subs

    what are you useing to measure your spl?

    well it was an event i think they use a termlab spl meter

    well these event are like "for fun" its costs about 5 buck per 3 passes...the guys who make it are from a local dbdrag forum and they have 2 mics and the program...these events are pretty fun to go as you can see other people scores, talk to the other car audio fans, show off your car etc...and there are also many diff. scores ranging from 130 to 155

    well got a quote for the powerbass subs and it was 620.60 lol i think im gonna buy something else...i know u guys hate audiopipe but i was thinking 4 DVC audiopipes...the audio pipe costs me 248.03...i want to get to 145+ dbs im gonna hve like 250-300 to spend on subs...

    Well...how much rms power do you have right now for the substage??

    its kinda hard to get into the 145 db range with like 400 watts

    The Audiopipe TXX series subs are a good bang for the buck...i have nothing against them

    well i have an amp that gives 746 rms bridged at 4 ohms but i was on a local forum and got the idea to get 4 more of the same subs i have...and have a total of 6 15s and get another amp

    6 15s what kind are they if you get enough power to them they should hit hard i was thinkin of getting 6 15s for my bronco2

    are you gonna wall it off or what?? your cargo area looks like it barely fits your two 15s now.

    lol well i can make a box 45x22x41 so i think theyll fit

    says its 23.49cubes before displacement so you should be fine thats about how much room i need for 44 18s **** i might even go with 6 15"FI SSDs

    i have a big trunk now cuz i moved the back sit to the front so i have lots of space and yea those are the measurements azn

    thats about 20.38 cu ft gross before all of the bracing and port displacement

    have you looked into buying some sound damping material...flexing metal is wasted energy
