x2, they really don't "match" the car.

It'll look much better a few inches lower... but chrome would have been the way to go here, or perhaps all black.

On that note, feel free to comment on my rims: http://www.caraudiotalk.com/audio-forum/showthread.php?t=5003 :)

haha, I know, its weird. I liked them so I think they match the car, but i know what your talking about when you say they don't match. they're NOTHING like factory, but thats kinda the point.

Yeah, chrome would be badass. Paint your car black and keep those rims.

Throttletune is right, clamps are bad and dangerous. Heating and cutting isn't good but just cutting isn't dangerous. The ride will change depending on how much you cut off. Anyway, you are buying a lowering kit so i'll bet you'll like the results. One inch makes a BIG difference. The only reason why i cut my lowering coils is because i wanted it VERY low (i was very young at the time). My 17' rims and 40's would actually be already in the wheel well. Honestly, it was way to low. Had problems going over speed bumps and potholes. Once i let my wife use the car, she put it back up to stock height. LOL

Spkrman, your rims look very nice. a little big for the size of the car but I LOVE chrome. personally, i would have went with 18's or 19's but it does look good. Do you have any problems of rubbing when you turn?
