ohh...im not having electrical problems yet but in case of i wanted to know how many amps would be good....I ha another question....can i pus a resistor on an amp so it reads the 4 ohms that is supposed to see when bridged??

i believe so, not 100% sure but if u can i'm sure you need a hefty one.

okk...yesterday i putted on the old amp, i had for the subs, but now they are for the speakers...i have conected 4 6x8 kenwood...4 ohms each, conected in parallel...and i have 2 4 inches sony, also 4 ohms each....the old amp is a profile baja 1000 watts 2 channels, bridged and needs a min. of 4 ohms. the total impedance of all the speakers together is .66667

adding a resister will not make your system any louder...the resistor will just absorb the added outputed power in heat.

Never use resistors to change the impedance cuz I won't help or work

what would be the best thing to do then??

ohh crap...well i really have four on my van and had 2 4 inches around my house and desided to put them on...i guess ill have to wire 2 6x8 per channel and forget about the 4 in

I wouldn't use those 4 inchers...you could make some work shop/garage speakers outta em.

yeah just disconected the 2 4 inchers and left the amp with 2 ohms per channel doesnt sound as hard as when it was bridged but still sounds a lot harder than before...what would you guys think it would be best? build a custom vented box for my 2 15 audiopipes or get rid of the audiopipes and go with some kicker cvr's or some MTX's??
