if you can get CDT speakers for 100 bucks.. I would do it. They are a pretty solid company. Let me link you something you can read so you know what im talking about .. when i say a proper install. http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=95925
i dont think i have the patience for all that, but would the rubber baffles maniac was talking about be somekind of upgrade?
nice, the price is good and it looks like a simple install. and all i have to do is just add pollyfill inside the rubber baffles?
ive had good luck with polk. they seem to make solid equipment. psycho maniac...are those rubber baffles the ones out of crutchfield?? or about the same? and how much of a difference will it make (sound-wise) by putting them on there?? my g/f's neon likes to leak water down the door...i was going to put some on there anyway to keep the water from ruining the speakers.
if you have polks.they are marine certifide.i dont think the doors on my jimmy leak, but the doors on my old s-15 did and i ran some polk db 5.25's with zero probs. i love em.
Thats what they are for. There water proof and those are the ones from crutchfield. I plan on getting some because there super cheap.
