man, ive never been to a pawn shop before, i live like an hour from the closest pawn show, id love to go check out one eventually.

so how well does a 15 keep up with like rock and alternative, as far as double bass and stuff? if done right can they have a quick responce but still get super loud? if i ever get a car i thought about doing a 15 but i listen to such a variety of music, i want my system to be versatile.

 

well i have a crappy 15 that was given to me and its not half bad on the music i listen to, and i rock out to a lot of diff styles. rap/hip hop, pop. country, rock, swing,blues, vocals, you get the point.

its mostly about the enclosure i would believe. although not my personal choice this sub aint all that bad. i might just keep it a lil longer than planned until i figure out what to do with my 2 8's that still play.

gonna have to put my plans on hold. you know money's tight these days.

 

just a question but what is so bad about audiobahn?

 

bloated power claims, all show no go (amps). i sold 2 15's for a friend at a show and had them in my truck (playing) and the output was terrible for 2 15's. the sound was ok but my 4 8's killed them in output and sound.

they were dvc 6 ohm subs wired to 1.5 ohms and my 8's were wired to 1 ohm. the cone area should have made them louder but didnt. maybe not the right box for my truck who knows.
